I am a 35 year old mother of 2. My daughter Shaughnassy is 10, and my son Kennon is 4. My husband is a firefighter and I am a retired CHP officer(California Highway Patrol).
In September of 1999, I was driving home in my private vehicle, with my daughter in a safety seat in the back when we were hit by a drunk driver. In the resulting collison, I broke my neck and shattered my right wrist(my art hand, of course), and wound up with many other serious injuries. My daughter was just under 2 years old at the time, and wound up in a coma due to the violent impact of the crash. It has been years since the crash, and thanks to the grace of God I can still do art even though my right hand is stuck in a "claw". My daughter has completely recovered from the crash, and you'd never know she had been in it...thank heaven!
I have very eclectic taste in music, and art. Basically, I have an "I like what I like" attitude. I do enjoy art groups like this, and I am looking forward to having my artwork exposed to a new group of folks, and seeing what else is out there.
